This challenge comes because the husband and wife happen to be two different people who have been brought up in two different environments. As you are aware, your wife is not your sister who has grown up with you over the years. It is funny to sometimes hear some christian men introduce their wives as 'sister so and so'! Please she isn't your sister.
Some girls get married and say they will change their fiancee after they get married. You must appreciate that even the parents that gave birth to him have not succeeded in changing him to whatever they desired. I wonder how much chance you have as a wife to change your husband to what you want. That attempt may be trouble waiting to explode.
Learn to accept him the way he is or forget about marrying him. If you find yourself in a situation where you are now reasoning and saying 'I will change him (or her), the Lord will help me' etc, indeed, the Lord is already helping by giving you this information. Don't enter that marriage, or at least not with this attitude.
There will be trouble (challenges), but God will take care of them. He is a miracle worker.
