Being manipulative is to be insidious, cunningly seeking a chance to entrap. Love is not manipulative. Love allows the beloved chose what he or she wants.
A manipulative wife will use sex as a bargaining tool to get something from her husband. She will look for ways and means to play on other people's intelligence so that she can have her way. That is not love, such a person is a danger to themselves and everyone they claim to love.
Trust God for your marriage, your children and loved ones. You don't have to manipulate them.
